The Cooper's Hawk in Odessa, FL was a project where I felt as though I had a lot of input in the design direction, which was great experience. Cooper's Hawk projects are generally 60% prototypical, and 40% new design. This CH location leaned more towards 50/50 for prototypical/new design. The project featured new millwork and a vaulted exposed ceiling in the retail/tasting bar area, which was a new concept for Cooper's Hawk. I was involved in the interior design and construction documentation for this project, and will continue to work through CA as construction starts. I had large amount of responsibility in the design production which included managing tasks for other team members and leading the design production for my team at Aria Group as a whole. At the start of this project, I worked closely with a senior designer to get ideas/direction for the aesthetic of the project and then she continued to check in from time to time throughout the remainder of the project.
